Hynds Construction Awards recognise a project that has enhanced its success including, but not limited to setting up the project, the relationships, client satisfaction, risks and the construction – both in thinking and implementing the idea.


Provide an outline and explanation of significant project achievements during the last 12-18 months 
eg: quality assurance, engineering, collaboration, level of client satisfaction, site factors, complexity and strong people development culture.


Describe the process of setting up the project (10%)
Setting up the project contributes 10% to the final score and will consider the following factors in relation:

Relationships and client satisfaction contributes 35% to the final score and will consider the following factors:

  • Delivery of client requirements
  • Level of client satisfaction

The final 10% of the marking is at the judges’ discretion and is intended to further distinguish the projects. This could include but is not limited to the following:

  • Timeliness better than planned
  • Meeting a tight budget from the tender market
  • Particularly high level of client satisfaction
  • Particularly challenging or risky conditions
  • A strong people development culture
  • A particularly strong result given the size of the company
  • Successfully overcoming unusual adversity
